About
Hello, I’m Nina C. I’m just another twentysomething living in pursuit of truth, Jesus, and freshly baked chocolate chip cookies.
I grew up in the small town of Stephenville, Texas, population: cows and high school football. I did my best to excel in everything growing up, just to find out that most of the fancy titles and grades I got meant almost diddly squat when I got to college. It’s okay; I blame it on my hard-working Asian genes. I can’t help it.
“It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.” That almost describes college. More “best” than “worst” though, for sure. I did come to know some fantastic people through the Goin’ Band, the Wesley Foundation, and Sigma Phi Lambda. College ain’t college without joining some insanely large group full of crazy people.
After graduating from Texas Tech, I moved to Dallas, Texas and worked as an on-site technician for a big retail store for three years. After a seven month hiatus, I now work at a university, providing tech support for faculty and staff. My design communication degree gathers dust beautifully on my mantle. I enjoy writing, playing, and listening to music, good conversation, and free food.
I’m not sure where I’ll be lead to next, but I’ll be sure to let you know.
