Radiohead.
I’m not sure if it’s because I’m outgrowing my emo tendencies but I’m listening to the new Radiohead Best of Radiohead album and I’m slowly falling for them. I tried to get into Radiohead after Pablo Honey (remember “Creep?“) but I couldn’t wrap my musical tastes around Kid A at the age of 13. But now, at the chipper young age of 25 and hopping on the electronic bandwagon, I think I may give it another listen.
p.s. - I just now remembered that I wrote a post about Radiohead when I downloaded “In Rainbows” for free. “An interesting endeavor by Radiohead, to let their listeners pick their price. Not sure if it was a financial success, but as marketing goes, well a non-Radiohead fan is now listening to Radiohead because of this schtick, right? And who knows, maybe if I give it a few more plays, they’ll grow on me.” Oh, foreshadowing!
