Radiohead - In Rainbows
Because there were only a few days left to purchase Radiohead’s In Rainbows at your own set price, I decided to “buy” it. Yes, I am one of those lame-o people that decided to pay nothing for it. A week later, I finally tossed it in my iTunes library and listened to it.

Now, I’m not an avid Radiohead fan by any means. I honestly haven’t listened to them since I bought Pablo Honey, thinking a song about being a Creep was amazing and that surely the album was too. I was wrong and haven’t forgiven Radiohead since. Just not my cup of tea.
In Rainbows proves once again that for some reason, I can’t wrap my head around Radiohead. BUT! For some reason, I can’t stop listening to it. It may be because it’s not an album I can sing along to, so conveniently it’s been a good album to accompany me while I do laundry, brush my teeth, and tidy up the apartment.
An interesting endeavor by Radiohead, to let their listeners pick their price. Not sure if it was a financial success, but as marketing goes, well a non-Radiohead fan is now listening to Radiohead because of this schtick, right? And who knows, maybe if I give it a few more plays, they’ll grow on me.

just wanted to say, I like your comments about the radiohead album. I’m a huge fan of radiohead and thought this project was a little bit of a new direction for them, but it does have some depth to it. So yeah, cool site, and the Squad is gonna miss ya.

I like Raidohead quite a bit, but they do have kind of a strange quality to them. Most ablums I only really like a handful of songs, the other third or so are ok, and the last third make me wanna stick flaming sticks into my ears. Ok Computer is their best album by far, if you ever plan on listening to another Raidohead album, that’s the one.
